As I sat in the garden, watching the sky, it turned white, grey then black.
Then it started to cry.
The raindrops came down, they were fine at first. Then intensity grew
As clouds started to burst.
The wind sure did howl; the temperature dropped. Trees bent in the wind.
To left and to right I saw the trees flop.
Sky blacker still, a scarier sight. I hear thunder now.
It’s in the distance all right.
The odd flash of light accompanies the rain. Coming together
This weather campaign.
Rain hitting the pool. Filling it up. Close to the top now.
Enough now, enough.
Weather passed now overhead. Distance away. It is the storm season.
It will be back again, someday.
