Cafe Venice

Foodie Review

Each food review will be assessed by me, the customer, on the following:

  • First Impressions.
  • Location.
  • Menu.
  • Pricing.
  • Service.
  • Would I return to this establishment?

Each will be marked out of 5, for a total out of 30.

CAFE VENICE

If you are anything like me when it comes to food, you know what you like. It is said that breakfast is the best meal of the day so  should never be skipped. When I was at work, skipping it was a regular thing due to the nature of my job. Now, I never miss breakfast.

Sure, coffee and toast works very well and definitely fills the gap til lunchtime, but on occasion, I have been known to venture out for breakfast. If I venture out, the meal changes.

Cafe Venice is located at Maroochydore. Its one of those little cafes that you don’t even realise is there, unless you know the area well. Although it sits on the main road, it is situated well back, so you need to know what you’re looking for.

From where I live in Buderim, it is a 15 minute drive to Cafe Venice. You’ll see from the map that it is at the Maroochydore end of the beachfront.

You can get there by driving several ways, all of which are seen on the map.

The time/distance hardly changes whichever way you go. There is just minutes in it.

Above you can see the menus that are available on the internet. I have eaten here several times for breakfast but not for lunch, so cannot comment on that.

REVIEW FOR BREAKFAST DINING

FIRST IMPRESSIONS

First impressions are good. A small restaurant but one that utilises all its space including the pavement space in front of the eatery. Chairs are comfortable. Tables, chairs and decor clean.

LOCATION

The location is on a main road but set far enough back , that the main road is not too problematic. Of course, you get traffic noise, but you get that everywhere. Its close enough to home that a last minute breakfast trip is perfectly do-able without any issues whatsoever.

MENU

The menus are posted above for your perusal. I have eaten breakfast a few times. When I go out for breakfast, I go all out. I usually have the Gladiator Breakfast. There is plenty of variety on the menu and they are also willing to adapt anything for you if you ask.

PRICING

The Gladiator breakfast retails at $21.90 and for that price you get everything on it. Its very reasonably priced when I compare it to the price of similar breakfasts elsewhere.

SERVICE

Service is very good. I have never had to queue whilst there, even at high traffic times of the day. Have never waited longer than 15 mins for breakfast. The breakfast is always hot when served and cooked as requested.

WOULD I RETURN

Yes I would. I would recommend it to others.
